The goal of DP World Southampton’s training programmes is to develop all of our team members by enabling them to work “safer, better, smarter”.
The safety training goal of DP World Southampton is to ensure that every training programme delivered focuses on the individual’s responsibility to work safely and apply their training when back in the workplace. The safety training goal is achieved by coaching, mentoring and assessment.
The personal development goal of DP World Southampton is to ensure that every team member gains an understanding of how they fit into the “big picture.” This is done by focusing on: customer service, team work, communication (external and internal) and developments in the shipping and container terminal industries.
The training team of DP World Southampton delivers all training programmes to all team members with the highest possible standards of honesty, integrity and fairness.
