Overview

The operations are at the heart of all the activities we carry out at DP World Southampton, but we believe that they should not only be carried out to meet customer expectations but also be carried out with thought and action aligning to the environment, sustainability and the community in which we operate. 

This includes such initiatives as building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with the community and creating an environment and conditions of work that help DP World Southampton to become the ‘employer of choice.’

Environment

DP World Southampton is committed to exploring new ways of reducing environmental impact through our operations and development.

Sustainability

The economic sustainability of the company is important not only to the economy of the UK in general, port users and the general supply chain, but also to supporting the employees and the communities in which they live as well as suppliers and other local businesses which benefit.

It is therefore important that DP World Southampton plans for future developments which are economically and environmentally sustainable.

Community

DP World Southampton integrates with the community at many different levels, through the interaction with the people who live in the vicinity in which we operate, through our employees and suppliers and through other businesses who rely on us.  Therefore we are committed to building and maintaining strong and mutually beneficial relationships with those communities.
